Lenore owes much of her playful and peaceful illustration style to her childhood spent outdoors in the company of neighborhood friends. Growing up in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, Lenore built a vivid imagination amongst high plains and open skies. After completing her Bachelor of Architecture degree, she found herself spending nights and weekends experimenting with watercolor, paper mache, and collage. Following her intuitive creativity, she currently illustrates with gouache, oil pastel and crayon, while flowing between analog and digital space. Her current home in the verdant Pacific Northwest inspires her stories that evoke magic in the ordinary, through humor and spontaneity.
