Lenore owes much of her playful and peaceful illustration style to her childhood spent outdoors in the company of neighborhood friends. Growing up in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, she built a vivid imagination amongst high plains and open skies.

After completing her Bachelor of Architecture degree, she found herself spending nights and weekends experimenting with watercolor, paper mache, and collage, ultimately leading to her creative career in print design and illustration.

Her current home in the verdant Pacific Northwest inspires her stories that evoke magic in the ordinary, through humor and spontaneity.
